We carry the most popular and strongest vineyard posts made specifically for vineyards. The Rolled Edge Vertical Line Posts have been used in California and French vineyards for decades. Notches are on the side for easy wire placement without clips. Standard offering is 8', 13 gauge self colored for a natural 'wood' look in the vineyard. We also have a heavier duty 12 gauge post for trellis systems in high wind conditions or that will carry an extra heavy load. A typical installation will put 2' in the ground for 6' up. Using metal alleviates any concern with wood preservative, installation is easier, you can order in any quantities, more mechanical harvestor friendly, and you don't need to buy and install wire clips. Email/call for volume pricing. Other style metal posts (Supra Grande or Mannwerks style) as well as galvanized posts and different lengths available upon request. Small quantities can ship UPS with their overlength surcharges. Larger quantities will ship on a freight truck which we will communicate to you on. Weights range from 9.1-10.6 pounds.
